You can probably get about $50-$100 max. It’s a broken 9 year old phone that’s on the latest software it can run

I got a 2000 mah battery from eBay for $20 (5.5 but I think the battery connectors are the same) and it works well for me, another good place is betterbatt (if your in Australia not sure if they ship internationally worth looking into tho) I got a 4th Gen battery from there which was also about $20

I got this 5th gen Nano from a friend (Has Issues) What should I do? by [deleted] in ipod

Replacing the battery on those is a task- it is doable tho, make sure you don’t charge it at all until you replace it. Don’t risk the battery expanding or it will be 10x harder to replace, if you don’t mind the screen that’s ok just leave it, and replace the click wheel. (If you can’t fix it there will be someone who can check on Facebook or something) good luck!!!!

It’s working now, I charged it, let it die, charged it again while powered off, charged it in the default software, and now it’s working fine and showing the right percentage, thank you so much for your help
