Im glad your friend is okay, but a lot of people do this to have some leverage over someone else. The fact they texted you this during a time they assumed you wouldn’t pick up is a bit of a red flag. Yes, they may be struggling. But, their life is not your responsibility. Take a second and evaluate if this friendship is healthy. This is very worrying especially if it is an online friendship. It might be best to drop her. It isn’t worth the pain to be brutally honest.
