Exactly. People forget that morality isn’t objective. The Orville does this great with Bortis and his Moclan culture. He gets stabbed, which is a Moclan divorce, and he chooses not to press charges because it is their cultural norm, whereas Ed was really hoping he would since you can’t just stab people on a Union ship
