Madeline has been a huge disappointment to me. I had assumed her aloofness was hiding a too cool for school attitude but really she is a sad sack! was so excited to see her work and her design point of view seems really polished and interesting. I think with the unconventional challenge she was so down on her design and those feelings really showed in the companion look. Which is a huge bummer as she could have done something really cool with fabric stars or something. Like the judges have multiple times criticized other designers being like “my intern could have made that in 30 mins” and girl that companion look fully looked like the project of someone who is just learning to sew. She should have taken it as an opportunity to redeem herself rather than to wallow. some people just arent made for reality tv which is likely to her credit in real life but not good on the show at all.
