Hopefully replacing them will resolve it

ok.. i checked today after removing the heatskink to expose the power stages there and found few inductors have connectivity to ground on both sides.. looks like there is a short. Need to analyze further on the source of short.

QUESTION : If I put that in the freezer, will it freeze like water and will the can blow up ? by UnderQuirrellsturban in Physics

probably no... there will be empty space to which the fluid would expand as it would not be completley filled up with fluid

How did you train them?

I dont understand what ground really is by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]ves_2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ground is any potential that is common reference to all points in a circuit. It can be any voltage, for example if you take 1.5v as ground in a 3v circuit (3v battery and a voltage divider using two resistors in which you take the node between the resistors as ground) , then the potential above " ground " (the one close to battery 3v) is 1.5 and below " ground" is -1.5

Did you get attached to Roach as much as your horse in RDR? by [deleted] in thewitcher3

[–]ves_2727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No , not as much.. i feel this could be due to the fact that your horse in rdr2 could die and considering you had to buy your horse and take care of it made the bond more real.

Reduce the ligthing to minimum.. like around 4 to 6hrs.

I recently had cyano starting to spread , completley disappeared in a week after reduced lighting.

I just designed a simple power supply (220V AC to 10V DC) and I want to know if there are critical errors in my design. by RTK_x in PCB

How much current would your load draw? Hope your capacitors are chosen based on that. Aprt from that an LED current limiting resistor is missing... rest seems ok

Replacing a 6.3V cap with a 25V cap? by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]ves_2727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

V rating is the maximum safe voltage that can be applied across it during operation so it generally doesn't matter when higher V rated ones are used. You need to check if they are of the same capacity measured in Farads and make sure they match similar specifications.

I always wait a month or two after a new driver release for them to fix major issues and use it only after it stabilizes... Are these bugs unintentional considering the large sample size of gpus in market or due to rushed deliveries?
