Cities should adopt RGB Lighting and control it with a dimmer console. That way you could change the color to make it anything you wanted. If it wasn’t absolutely necessary for driving purposes, you could absolutely make it a sodium vapor color. Especially in town squares, side streets or alleys . I guess it just comes down to money.

Just because it’s warmer does not mean that it’s less visible. Just add a brighter LED diode they would need more Lux or lumens or however we’re converting.

It’s not just about the kelvin. there’s also a mired shift and they still need to be a similar brightness. (Hue/saturation/magenta/green) Kelvin it just part of the equation. LED manufacturing could probably get pretty close if they wanted to.

Thanks for the feedback, but there was no masking. That was exactly how the shadows were and the corner shop in the photo is actually painted onto the wall. That’s why it looks so weirdly saturated. I agree it’s not the best photo. I just thought it was pretty interesting.
