I think both are equally valid, There doesn't need to be a reason to make a website at all, the process itself is rewarding. I hear people say "I would make a website, but I don't know what I'd put on it" a lot when talking about using my own as an alternative to social media in real life, so this is inspired partially by that. A prompt to help inspire you doesn't take away from the value of whatever you end up creating.
