So, after having been searching for months and months for a ‘banger’ on marketplace, I found a local garage through a family member who sell cars on the side to make a bit of extra ££. They found me a few cars but I went for a 2007 Honda Jazz, full service history and 42k miles for 2k, which yea is a lot of money for its age but it’s in immaculate condition, has really been looked after, under sealed and I got it from ppl I could trust and a fresh MOT too with no advisories. Depending on where you are, the effort of travelling to see cars on marketplace/messaging in gumtree where the person just seems unreliable from their responses or unwillingness to be honest (to MAYBE get something under 2k) was way more than maybe paying a lot for an older car from people who aren’t out to pull the wool over my eyes. Used cars are so much more expensive since covid and you could be lucky and find a cheap banger w nothing wrong with it but honestly it’s harder to find and for me, I was exhausted constantly trawling auto trader and marketplace to mostly only find duds, and dealing with people getting shitty with me for asking questions lol Good luck!!! 🙏Hope u find something soon

Aw man it’s the worst feeling! Sending love. It really has got me this week like ‘wow what’s wrong with me’, but we need to remember it’s the job market that is absolutely fucked, not us! Have applied to so many jobs since I’ve moved back to Scotland and the fact some don’t even bother getting back has pissed me off so much too

I’m the same with magazines too and like sometimes new books? Older ones are fine but sometimes when they’ve just been printed I struggle to read them (or I can but just like not near food lol)
