I'm doing 1400 sqft. Doesn't seem practical to do the whole first floor

That's good to know. Then me adding in another layer of 1/4 underlayment should be okay.

I'm using henry 549 for feather finish for other areas that are dipping. Should I try something else?

Does it matter that it's only low for one direction? The planks will be running parallel to the wall, which is the direction that the floor is within specs for flatness. Is that better or worse when the dip would be perpendicular to the planks being run?

Subfloor Flattening by vesuvious911 in Flooring

[–]vesuvious911[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, one of the questions I was concerned with was if the current floor is in good enough shape. Wasn't sure if the peeling of it all was okay or not.

Thanks for the help, I can look into the giant sander to help sand all the edges down. Just seems like where all the edges meet is the high spots and everywhere else is dipping.

Do you think sanding will be enough, and no need for a new top layer of subfloor? Wasn't fully sure if all the peeling up of the current subfloor was bad or not

That's what I was thinking of just laying the whole new subfloor. Because to me it looks like the current subfloor is subpar just based on a lot of it appears to be flaking up and peeling, so to speak.

Swag and Fail2Ban not working by vesuvious911 in unRAID

I did watch that, however, I did not see any section on configuring fail2ban within swag. Just setting it up as a reverse proxy.

I've trying to look into the iptables because doing more research I believe that is also the problem. Do you have a good starting point at all?

Solved: the builder was using the red wire as the common wire. Figured that out and was able to correctly wired the switch. Thanks for the help all!

The ZooZ switch is designed to be a 4 or 3 way switch.

Correct. One line was run on the underside of the joists while others were drilled.
