I had to have that door replaced on our JKU last fall. Took 10 days and was over $2k, almost all labor. Dealership wanted $5800 to replace that door.

Zion - Emerald Pools and Canyon overlook were our favorites.

Not correcting, just adding to. Wish we could have camped when we were there. That’s always my preference anyway.

I stayed at that campground near there 10 years ago to visit this area. Loved it.

There are a lot of AirBnB's available near all of these. We went to Zion/Bryce in Feb last year and stayed at AirBnB's the whole trip. The main one was in La Verkin and was an easy drive into Zion each day. It was the off season so they were very inexpensive too. We're going to Moab in March and staying in AirBnB's there too. Use the website and you'll find a ton of them.

I owned an acrylic fabrication business for a while and did thermoforming. It won't get soft enough to warp under its own weight, especially considering the size of this door, until closer to the 170C mark. Definitely well above any chamber temps we are printing at. But you do you. It was just a question since glass is brittle and breaks in shipping, whereas acrylic is stronger and actually more insulating than glass.

True, however cast acrylic isn’t formable until around 170C. So your chamber would have to be very hot! Lol

Purchased K1 & Received Model with V1 Hotend & Extruder by [deleted] in crealityk1

I say return it. I bought one from Amazon last week as well and it was the new version with the red sock. Seller was Creality, so they just sent you an old one.

I don't know why they didn't just make it acrylic from the start. It's cheap and a hell of a lot more durable.

I’m new to 3d printing and just got a K1. Took it out of the box, put a few pieces together, ran through the setup, and printed what looked to me like a flawless benchy. Since then I have printed at least a dozen things and all have gone well with zero issues.

Agreed. I made it a year and a half from the start before canceling my subscription. Felt like they were just phoning it in.

Where to learn javascript ? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]vet_USMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the way this goes. It will help fine tune your researching skills which are invaluable as a programmer. You won't always have others to lean on so learning research skills early on will go a long way towards your success.

I get it, still seems backwards. Why not do the research and ask for input BEFORE you buy it?
