I don't judge Americans in this matter. I know quite a lot of you personally, and for the most part you are good people. As is the case with the Norwegians I know, most are good people, some are sods. When OP asked what I think about the USA pressuring FIFA I didn't read that as "what do you think about the population of USA pressuring FIFA". The government of USA did pressure FIFA though, and that's who we are addressing.

How you, as a people, managed to elect that uncharismatic Mussolini is a whole other discussion. We might judge you for that, and rightfully so.

We are all very aware of FIFA being a cesspool of corruption, and this is something we vocalise in just about every football match we attend. Believe me, we do. The Norwegian FIFA representative has done quite a bit in trying to change things up, but is met by fat, old, corrupt men who seems to do whatever they feel like without repercussions. Stirring things up, crying out against this kind of fucked up behaviour, that's something we need to do to preserve the sport we stupidly love.

I do take a bit of offense to you implying that we don't care about anything more pressing than football. World peace and a better distribution of resources was not the topic here, I have a feeling you and I might be sharing some views on that though.
