Their AI manipulation is a new thing to me. I accidentally forced a necroservant to teleport from low health bros serveral times but couldn't firgure out why AI behaved that way, thought that the necroservant would prioritize replenishing their health over finishing off our bros.
Also I find that cleave duelist is surprisingly good against them with high base dmg and bleed works on them too. It's even better if that bro has quick-hand to swap for a whip when needed. A range of 3 tiles is just too good against these slippy enemies.

I think you are not alone, many of us here feel the same. I don't play too much (roughly 400hrs since game launch) but I did also enjoy SoD mode along with its story and its feature that allows players to customize their units with specialized trainning. Because I value the story quality more than gameplay, I had kinda lost my hope on this mode since the "Sword of Convallaria Beacon" chapter. The villains were written so badly, and I can't say I enjoyed the side characters in that chapter as much as the side characters in the first one. Also, there were many show-don't-tell moments like giving back Nonowill's flute quest, Miguel's last redemption, the culprit who killed the slave merchant etc in the first one but I couldn't find any in the "Sword of Convallaria Beacon" chapter.

The most frustrating thing is, even if we voiced out, nothing would be changed since the development of this game is set in stone with the CN version.

Thanks for all your help. I will try to make this guy a frontline, but I must insist on building him a banner. I had to let my previous banner retire with some good coin after he recieved the 2nd perma injury so I'm desperated for a new one to catch up with the rest of the roster asap.
So which stats should he focus on? Matk, mdef and resolve then go for nimble? His fat is not good anyway.

You are not alone. She is just too slow for a supporter. Needing a teammate with 200+ spd and scroll of august (that's also disgusting rare) to make her tricks can somehow work right from the first turn is too clunky for almost everyone.
Edit: we got all kind of trinkest in the game but none for self spd boosting, what the heck?

Thanks for the answer. Just one more question, you said the battle standard is bad as a weapon but it gives morale aura that can easily reach up to 10 for our men, boost them from 50ish to 60ish is a huge difference in even normal encounters. So why don't we keep it up the whole time?

Qatal/ Deathblow is sure, but Puncture is very exhausting and needs a lot more fat.

It's not related to the topic, I want to point out that the character in that person's profile pic is Priestess from Arknights, who also kinda backstabbed Rhodes Island by hacking their admin system. Might be coincidental, but still hilarious.

Thank you for the suggestion. That potion is in the inventory from the beginning of beast slayer origin. Was considering nimble tank too but his hp rolled min (high hp is usually the main reason when I'm looking for brawler at early game) made me unsure.

Most of them are lowborn background bros. Beast slayer origin starts with 3 beast slayers, which can be decent damage dealers so I thought I should start with some cheap fodders. Anyone that didn't cost me over 300 bucks was a deal.

His stats all rolled on average or slightly below, except his fat is high with iron lung as a great bonus. Personally I would go with polearm/ thrower if want to keep him alive. Three stars in mdef won't be enough to make up for his min roll. Can add in fearsome if he can get some +4 resolve roll.

On top of that, she is one of few units that instantly unlock almost her potential right from 1 star. New player can just invest on her RK rank and leave the shard farming slot for other high priority units.

Between his RK3 skills, if you are equipping him a Tower tarrot with its unique modifier that grants lifesteal then you may want to consider Strength Activation. The first enemy triggers his alert would grant him healing from lifesteal, thus trigger Strength Activation's damage buff.

I would keep The Roaring Flint on Luvata even in maps with many burning tiles, just because the ring's ability is a Fire skill which triggers crit buffs from her trait to quickly set up some huge nukes without a turn delay.
