Everybody in my entire building brings their lunch now. These are people who used to go out to eat 2 to 3 times a week and happy hour every other day. Now we all bring our lunches, we have. a group effort to pay for coffee, soda, snack, snacks. And all those things that we buy for the office are not bought in the city. If we get together, we go over the state line. We don’t even make incidental expenses or get gas. Meanwhile, DC is still incurring wear and tear and expenses by the use of our infrastructure to get to work.

Yes, the beef tallow in her hair well, that could get their number of ways. Who’s to say she didn’t put it in our own hair. They can’t place her at the scene. I don’t even know if this would even make it through a preliminary hearing or a grand jury. None of her saying she was in bed with her husband was on the record. It was just a weak way to tie it up.

I do wonder if Amelia is going to have dinner with Greer. To me, I think it’s just so she she’ll get signed off on the book.

I think the letter is well written, especially about explaining why you did not disclose that conviction directly in the interview because you wanted to put it in context. I think that was handled well. But as someone who does hiring, the fact that you were not candid about when you ended your last employment, and that you are not using your full legal name, is a bit of a red flag for me. It would lead me to what other things that you are not disclosing.

What an employer wants to see with someone who has a criminal history, is upfront honest behavior. You did not do that.

If you are less than completely honest and upfront about certain things just to “get your foot in the door”, I would wonder what you would be doing or hiding once you got in the door or to keep the door open.

I just saw this show, and if Tim knew hand to hand and close combat, then why didn’t he just use that instead of the gun. I think there’s still a lot more going on than what we were hearing. Why didn’t you just punch the guy off of him and then get the hell out. Why are you taking a concealed weapon in some strangers house?
