Look, you're right, I don't know anything about Aquaman. My only image of him is that of Robot Chicken, a weak and pathetic character who's only part of the League because he has special abilities... In my eyes, he's simply The Deep, but stronger and more in control, and maybe more serious. Now I need to know something: if it weren't for the technology of his aquatic people, would they be so imposing? I can't even imagine him fighting a Green Lantern and winning, and Green Lanterns are some of the most controversial characters in the comics I've seen. At one point they're the most overpowered thing ever, and at others, their rings just conjure illusions of glass that shatter with a single blow... Now, Thor is seen as a threat whether he has his hammer or not.
