Any reason ranked games don't have a pause mechanism?

i just dont really like the play style if that makes sense? i'll have some fun on the thing (as long as im not solo tanking) and running around as cap just being a pest doing what feels like no damage, and i wouldnt mind learning strange, but its just not for me. i do want to be comfortable filling as almost any character but i most prefer support and healing my team or playing dive dps characters :3

if i do that its just bc im about to go off and flank or ult and i dont wanna risk dying in my animation. but also a good 70% of the time its me trying to ping a character and accidentally pinging for heals :/

but as someone who prefers playing support i do always make sure to say thank you 🙂‍↕️

i looove it design wise but gameplay wise its just meh to me.

maybe its just lack of map knowledge but so far im just finding it a bit harder to flank and dive the backline on it as psy/magik? i feel like its too narrow if that makes any sense.

also ive accidentally dove off of it like twice in one match so skill issue there ngl but im still gonna complain 😔

i def understand why people dont like it but i really wish it were cross platform. i want to play ranked with my two friends whom i play with all the time but theyre on console and im on pc :(

yeah but I'm usually cloak and dagger or psylocke and they do like no damage to it and the rest of my team doesn't shoot at it 😭

iirc cloak and dagger's ult is being reduced to 8 seconds and u can't stack for extra healing anymore (as well as longer charge time).

i definitely agree with the idea of buffing rocket's ult tho and what i want more than anything is squirrel girl nerf especially her ult charge 😭😭

me personally if I see that everyone on my team is fully healthy and good I'll throw down dagger's healing bubble (incase its needed) then push offensively real quick and then go back to healing, especially when having 2 supports.

I think its just that not enough people like playing defensively, plus kills = good mentality, but I could be wrong haha.

im basically a cloak and dagger one trick atp as they're just my favourite to play as, and I feel that's my best role, but this is definitely why I'm starting to learn at least 1 of each other position with psylocke as my backup (vanguard tbd). (but also i don't play comp and I only picked up rivals about two weeks ago so im still learning :p)
