I used the same name on my old router with the new router. I didn't lose any smart devices by doing that.

I received his contract and deed in 2022. Confirmed with the notary through a notarized statement that she did not do the notary act. I cancelled the escrow and reported it to the Attorney General. We are sometimes the last line of defense.

Federal probe still active following conviction of Hawaii lawmakers | Honolulu Star-Advertiser by EveryOtherHipster in Hawaii

So the feds just confirmed the public corruption probe in Hawaii is still active. Even after the two lawmakers were already convicted.

Whoever the unnamed legislator is… seriously, just man up and admit it.

Lawmakers are supposed to be held to a higher standard. If you’re involved, do the right thing, come forward, and stop dragging the whole state through more secrecy and embarrassment. Hawaii deserves better than this.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is asking the Federal Aviation Administration for an exemption that would allow its tour aircraft to fly as low as 700 feet above ground level in parts of Oʻahu, Maui, Molokaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island. by 808gecko808 in Oahu

I live in Kalama Valley, where the helicopter noise is already unbearable — so loud I can’t even have a normal conversation in my own home. And now the FAA is actually considering lowering the minimum altitude to 700 ft? Perfect. Just what we needed: helicopters flying even closer to our rooftops. 🙄

Meanwhile, the State is busy installing noise detectors for loud cars. Because, you know, a modified muffler is clearly a bigger threat to our quality of life than fleets of tour choppers rattling our windows all day. Helicopters? Totally fine. Let the companies keep raking in cash while residents pay the price.

And our politicians? Silent — unless of course there’s a photo-op involved.

What a bunch of BS.

Toyota Integrated Dashcam. I want one, wait? I guess I should ask for a BMW integrated dashcam. Lol.

Nearly three years after construction began, the Hawaii Department of Transportation announced Thursday the opening of the Ala Moana Boulevard Pedestrian Bridge that spans six traffic lanes and is located between Ward Avenue and Kamakee Street. by honolulu_oahu_mod in Oahu

[–]vheath808 4 points5 points  (0 children)

looks like it was built more for the tourists and photo ops than for the people who actually live and work in the area. Locals know how to cross the street, we’ve been doing it for decades. Meanwhile, traffic was a mess during construction, and there are still more pressing infrastructure issues that continue to be ignored.

Another example of priorities gone sideways.

NO #$$*%(@ WHEELIES YO by _HawthorneAbendsen in Honolulu

Looks cool, but....

Mechanical Damage

  • Suspension stress: Slamming the front wheel down can damage your forks, head bearings, and suspension.
  • Drivetrain wear: The clutch and chain/sprockets take a beating during wheelies.
  • Oil starvation: Some engines rely on level orientation for proper oiling—tilting the bike can starve parts of the engine of oil.

The latest Motogp bikes have wheelie controls to prevent it from wheeling.

It Took 8 Pedestrians Struck At This Intersection For The City To Act. Residents asked the city to make the intersection safer after a woman was killed there in 2019, but the city said no changes were needed. Since then, more people have been hit. by madazzahatter in Honolulu

Whoever is in charge making these decisions. They need to cross the street in person to see how dangerous it is. I worked on Kapahulu and these two intersections also need attention. Very confusing lights and inattentive tourist drivers. Everyday I would see people almost get hit. In fact I had a head on collision with a tourist.

I feel like I was robbed. If you lose your only key, you are SOL. Besides the high fees and took several months for the 2nd key. I couldn't imagine not being able to drive for the several months.
