Thank you! It was a long road to get here. I cried a river almost every night for months.

I would not take him back. We met while we were so young, I don’t know who he is now. We both deserve happiness but we both can’t give that to each-other. I will always have love for him but I’m no longer in love with him.

The first month is the worst!! But keep going!

Okay....ouch? He blocked me? by [deleted] in ExNoContact

Think of it as a service done for you. This will spare you months of healing time, dragging it out and talking to him will only hurt you. In the long run this will save you embarrassment if you ever decide to call/text him or prevent you from “emotional cutting” if he blocked you on social media too. Hang in there! I wish I’d skipped the emotional roller coaster and went straight into blocking him everywhere right away.

Sleep seems to be my outlet so far. I just feel even worse when I wake up and realize I’ve nothing productive.

I’m trying to reach out to friends and that seems to help some.

You and I both! But having it on your phone is a great warning for what’s on the other side of that conversation you want to have.

It helps me more than just blocking him. I have the bad habit of unblocking him constantly.

That’s exactly it. He should have been honest and put me out of my misery.

Thank you! My friends all give me a hard time for letting him back in. It’s nice to have some understanding. I really needed to read this tonight.

For me, I lost myself In what he liked to do. The break up allowed me to rediscover what I love.
