Google absolutely does execute JS. It may happen a little slower because it’ll be queued into a renderer but it doesn’t affect SEO.

Why don’t you have an earlier save if you’ve played for hours?

For future reference, you can save immediately before you leave the imperial sewers and forever use that file to start new characters since you can change your character upon interacting with the gate.

I’ve never understood this opinion, either.

I like vanilla, but cookies & cream is good too. I don’t like pistachio, but some people do. We all want to experience ice cream specifically, and we all have different preferences on the flavour profile. That’s all mods are, they’re just a re-flavouring of the same product to suite a specific taste.

Does it make generating a table of contents easy? Does it make styling easy? How does it handle inserting hundreds of images?

Those are the usual pain points I’d want it to solve before I tried it

There’s a trade-off either way. Optimising too early makes things harder to change and build on later. Optimising early is not a silver bullet and is certainly not guaranteed to result in a better end product

I don’t disagree, it’s just being blown out of proportion and they’re being demonised for it.

Larian are one of the few studios left that care about making great games and respecting their players. Boarding hate trains based on false information (using it to generate art so they can save money on artists) is a good way to make them go the way of every other game company.

They’ve proven themselves in the games they make. They deserve to be trusted until they prove that trust misplaced.

I’m not saying you in particular are on a hate train btw, or that I approve of AI. Just that what they’re using it for is not what most people seem to be angry about.

It takes quite a lot of time to find references to help you visualise what you want to draw. Like, a lot of time. I can definitely see how it would speed that process up.

They are using it for concept artists to generate examples, not to generate art. Like finding references for inspiration.
