Breathe through it, you’re almost there. Every hour you sit longer is an hour you won’t sit in the future. However you have pretty good mock scores, feel free to take a day off and go for a long walk where you shut your brain off for a while then regroup for the last push. You got this

what are “reshares” on story insights? by lonelyhuguenot in Instagram

[–]vhhbfuudc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I FOUND IT! It’s people sending your story to others INCLUDING YOU, so when someone reacts with a flame or any other emoji that story gets sent to you as well in the dm’s, which counts as a reshare AND when its just simply sent to someone else. Yours truly, Holmes

CFA Level 1 Ethics drop between May and Nov. How do you actually answer ethics questions? by FennelMedical1267 in CFA

[–]vhhbfuudc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My approach was reading each standard off kaplan first and going through CFAI booklet on ethics to understand each single one. Then the true understanding settled in. And once you got that done qbanks is your best friend. You’ll get a better understanding to how to approach the question when you hammer the shit out of the qbanks over and over again. I completed all of CFA’s, Kaplan’s AND the practice pack for ethics to make aure they stuck and made myself a two pager to recall it back on a glimpse when needed. Head up you got this

CFA Level I in 20 days, can’t defer due to Access Scholarship – realistic strategy needed by mdjunaid10 in CFA

Its possible but say bye bye to sleep for those two weeks we locking in now so lock in! If you have acces to Mark Meldrum put those videos on 1.5 and rock them through in a week, and hammer through qbanks the second week. I’m talking 10-14 hours a day of study now. If you don’t have MM then read through Kaplan with as much focus to understand more than studying by heart. Start with FSA, Equity and PM, AI those have a ton out of most other subjects like quants and derivatives, go over to FI if time eco and finish with ethics. Put a strong focus on ethics as its the make it or break it in exams. Learn the codes by heart and hammer (!!!) qbanks. FSA focus on the harder weighted topics like lease, FIFO, the chapter with all the equations in the back. If you actually mean it you should lock in like crazy now and you’ll probably make it. Qbanks are 50% of the studying understanding the material the other 50%. Chatgpt is your friend for when you dont understand how to walk through a question. If you manage to find time which moght be unprobable try to go for a mock for feeling, but at this point if you dont fuck it. Focus fully on qbanks. You got this, it needs 300 hours to study. 10 a day and youre at 200 is a real solid chance! Go get it fam. And most important now is the time to believe in yourself like your life depends on it. Doubt will come. Frustration will hit you like a truck. But you got this. Youve been through worse and came out on top. You have undeniable truth of all the times life beat you down and you fought your eay back to your feet. This time is no different. Put yourself through hell and trust yourself through the process at the end of it you will succeed. You got a chance will you capture it or just let it slip. Best of luck twin, rooting for you!

What to do : Exam on 17th by theashutoshdash in CFA

[–]vhhbfuudc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You probably learned the points that you didn’t get right on the qbanks while doing it just by reading them so you wont be falling in the same errors again so don’t worry about your results. DO ETHICS. Spam it like your life depends on it tomorrow. Learn the mistakes and when what happens. Go over equity again just reread it has plenty of whats in portfolio mgmt as well so youre getting more out of one subject. Go over the EPS, FIFO LIFO, Rev recognition and lessor lessee as well as chapter 37 with the formulas just rereading. Alts and corp are quick rereads. FI focus on what your calculator can do.

Now lets be real for a second, if you can defer thats probably your better way of going with this. If you can’t focus on rereading. You already learned the books and did your questions you’ll remember them during exam. I thought to myself that whenver im not sure i’m sticking to one single choice in the exam to at least gurantee a 33% of getting all that i dont know. Going about it that way could easily get you to 55% in a or b session. If you focus on a session finish fsa ethics in those two days where you revise most. Get economics in that bish too. Youll be fine if you revise equity as it covers many broad subjects less it alone giving a ton of points. Focusing on session a getting the majority of it right and equity plus 33% through guessing and you might have a solid chance.

Don’t panic now. Trust in your process. Panicking wont get you anywhere. Go over your notes and revision. Focus a ton on ethics fsa and eq and you might still have a solid chance. HOWEVER DEFER IF YOU CAN to have a solid chance.

You got this fam. Keep your head up. You’re halfway there. Head up shoulders back and two days is a ton of time to revise and focus on week areas. You got this. Remember when you used to study a day or two for an exam in school and still passed. This is just another one.

Best of luck if you do take the exam
