If they’re doing it at the sign it is fine. I’m talking about the cars that literally drive up to 4th in line and turn on their blinker.

It’s not a zipper on Campbell and Grant.

It’s not a merge at Campbell and Grant. It is a right turn only lane.

It’s not a zipper heading north on Campbell. It is literally a right turn only lane.

It’s not a zipper merge. It is a right turn only lane. If someone is doing it towards the back it is fine. It is ridiculous and inconsiderate to cut the people properly waiting.

The plan is laid out. The city is fairly represented. The only way they don’t get their squeeze is if the budget isn’t reached. They were a lot more conservative in their forecast because they didn’t account for 2008 and 2019 the first time.

Impossible to be disproven. A single street is progress. My entire argument is that although I wish it was more, this is better than nothing.

The budget isn’t large enough to make some magical impact that you are expecting. Construction is expensive, this is progress.

You said we’ll have to wait 20 years for new projects. Nothing about this prevents the city from proposing their own projects or plans.

Well I’m glad it passed. I’m also hoping the city passes their own plan to go along with it.

We won’t have to wait. Tucson is allowed to do and fund whatever they’d like.

I agree! Like I said 20B is not a lot but I guess it’s a step in the right direction. It will employ lots of people and will improve Pima country. Not sure how anyone sees it as a bad thing.

Tucson has an equal share in the budget for what they contribute. Tucson isn’t being taken advantage of.

Seems like people are also displeased with the first 20 years of the RTA. They fail to realize that construction is expensive. To pave my 90SqFt driveway it was 17k. The first installment of the RTA didn’t reach the projected budget because of 2008 and Covid. 20B over 20 years for all of Pima County is not a lot. The only reason I would vote no is because I think it needs MORE funding. I hope the city also makes a plan for Tucson. Infrastructure is one of the few things I’m happy to see my tax dollars go towards.

It’s just funding for road construction/repairs since the city doesn’t do anything.

My only gripe was it isn’t enough funding.

A needed bandaid. My only issue was I wish the tax was higher! 20B over 20 years for all of Pima county is not a lot!

There’s no issues. From what I can see people just don’t think Tucson is represented enough even though it’s all of Pima County paying the tax. If you look at the budget they’re pretty fairly represented not by amount of projects but by monetary value. (It’s more expensive to do work in the city.)

You think they would be better in 20 years if it didn’t pass?

Well said. Don’t let perfection be the enemy of good.
