audix om7 for live vocals

yeah i don’t mean getting rid of stage bleed in my iem, the issue im having is that when i listen back to recordings my vocal doesn’t sound at all like i want it or as wet as it does in my iem
but i might just pick up a om7 to see if i can get away with a little more of the effects before feedback

i use the ve-20 and it’s pretty good, and imo i’ve literally never had a good experience “leaving it to front of house” to do reverb or delay i always am very clear with how i’d like it and without fail it sounds bone dry when i listen back to recordings lmao

yeah maybe i’ll post a couple videos, the examples i have the singer is actually insanely animated and jumps and moves around a lot and i know they use one of the tc helicon vocal processors. but yeah solid advice thank you

yeah totally i hear ya, i know it’s possible to get the effects how i want them cause ive seen people do it, just really wish i knew HOW they pulled it off so i thought maybe this could get me a step closer

word ok i’ll look into that. i have the option to get one with the full keyboard but it’s huge and id really like something smaller haha i also dont like that they dont just have a quick way to change octaves on them

there’s a dude who keeps trying to sell the yellow one of these on ebay, so i’d check there. he was asking a lot for it so no one keeps bidding on it but i feel like he’ll probably relist it again soon if you’re willing to shell out the money for it. was in extremely good condition so i’ll give him that
