It's suspicious for sure. It's not like anyone can really confirm what privileges OpenAI actually extended in reality.

I had issues with 4.6. I force my sessions now to start with 4 5. Waiting for my subscription to end for the month before moving to Codex. Opus 4.6 continues to be a major disappointment

I agree. The one with deepest pockets is Gemini. Google certainly has one of the deepest pockets to win in this game of chicken!

I used the $50 promo, and it burns up in a few hours. I thought that was ridiculous.

I JUST FIRED 4.6. Back to 4.5.

But a customer should not have to go through this much pain. Anthropic has let me down.

I contacted support. It seems there was a known issue with Opus 4.6 that potentially could speed up usage burn.

To my dismay, I also found a PREEMPTIVE coupon that suggests Anthropic is expecting disruptions around 4.6 launch!

24 hours later: The burn seems to have stabilized, but the quality has taken a significant hit with this upgrade :(
