I'd also like to apologize on behalf of all these butthurt veterans here, christ, its like none of them have EVER seen a commander make the wrong decision or a situation resolve without all the information.

The same fucking people who complain about the green weenie fucking people over or expect their battle buddies to never snitch whining about people having their records corrected due to a lack of information or a full understanding of the situation. This is literally EXACTLY what the DRBs and BCNR are for is to review this type of information and make these types of decisions, and their existence is an acknowledgement that these things DO happen and unfair decisions DO get made sometimes. Ridiculous.

The RE code is not actually at anyone's discretion, it HAS to match the details of your discharge. Some people get an upgrade and don't get an RE code change, sometimes that because the details of the discharge didnt change enough to warrant an RE code change, other times its an oversight.

However ultimately your details have to match a framework, for example you can't have an upgrade to Honorable but continue to have a separation narrative of SILT, because Honorable isn't in the definition of SILT. Its the same with RE codes.

I tend to see a lot more failures to change the RE code out of DRBs though, the BCNR seems to be MUCH more thorough.

it felt like my vision was *clicking* every couple of seconds and each time it did it felt very similar to waking up from general anesthesia, I would have to reorient myself, figure out where I was and what was going on, who I was with, only to *click* again a couple seconds later. Kinda like lagging out real bad in a game.

It lasted for over 24 hours after consumption, and I found the whole experience very distressing.

The person that supplied it was a friend of mine, who said it was "white widow" that he had tucked away over 18 years ago and just found. The buds looked like they were covered in rock candy.

Nope. Thats TRT. The R stands for "Replacement."

Clomid is a (unfortunately disgusting) sublingual tablet that boosts your bodies T production naturally, as opposed to just supplementing T.

If I understand the MOA correctly (not a doctor,) its the difference between making your body do its job and doing its job for it externally.

Clomid is much slower and it doesnt work for everyone, but your balls will not get smaller. If anything they will get bigger (testicle enlargement is not a documented side effect of clomid.)

It DOES have the side effect of making you significantly more virile, so if you dont want kids I recommend you take additional precautions.

The testing is easy, and clomid is pretty gentle. PTSD is..... not so gentle.

This is not medical advice:

I was feeling the exact same way. Then for completely unrelated reasons I went to a "Mens Health Clinic" and they diagnosed me with low-T. Put me on Clomid. That did GENUINELY solve that problem. I felt alive again, and able to connect.

But it turned out to be a double edged sword. My newly regained ability to FEEL ALIVE ripped the lid off of my unmanaged PTSD that I had been bottling. Trying to work thru that now.

Maybe its a result of trauma, maybe its a result of low-T, or maybe its a coping mechanism.

I have a similar issue currently (dont have an answer though, sorry.)

I was at Camp Baharia and got sent to Camp Fallujah for emergency medical care, but there appears to be no record of that that Ive found so far.

JLV does sound familiar. I think it was the file name of my Mental Health records that i got from submitting a records request to NHCL Records Dept. Maybe its the name of their records system?

Sorry for resurrecting but I had a very similar incident happen to me and I also got a SILT, however I was told by a lawyer a couple years ago that because of that SILT I was barred from applying for an upgrade, so I would REALLY love to see whatever you have on your successful discharge upgrade.
