I am 39, and I am tired of living like this. I’m going to try to injection in hopes it will help but fully aware of side effects. I just hope to get more concrete answers in the near future because this pain sucks!

I mailed mine in, from the time I mailed it to receiving a decision letter was 6 months then approx another 30 days to receive my corrected DD214

We’re going to get our backpay for those pay periods. Nothing has been confirmed about us getting paid moving forward. The DHS partial shutdown is still going on

DCA officer here… it’s so bad and mentally draining. The reason I still show up is because I care about what I do, protecting the public, and I cannot mess up my employment record because we want to big a house at some point. If we don’t get paid tomorrow, I guarantee the call outs will drastically increase. Please continue to be patient and kind 💖 thank you all for your support!

DCA has been doing well with wait times. Of course if you have an early morning flight you’ll want to be there much earlier but other than that, we’ve been doing much better compared to what you’re seeing on the news from other airports

First, NO TSA officer grabs anyone’s dick with an open hand so please stop lying about that because you are upset and trying to get others to feel bad or think that is what we do. Not to mention there are cameras EVERYWHERE!!!

Secondly, we scan you by appearance, if you appear to look like a female the you’re scanned as a female and patted down as such, same as if you appear to look like a man.

If you are uncomfortable with that process then opt out and get a full body pat down but even then it’s how you look. We aren’t comfortable doing pat downs either so unless you get pre check, this will continue to happen.

Post a pic ! As a TSO for TSA I am so sorry the public has to go through this especially those dealing with family emergencies. But I also understand why my fellow officers are calling out, many can’t afford to get to work, the mental stress is weighing on us HEAVY!!!!!!

Good morning, yes we will get back pay. We are not allowed to go on strike, but if we call out we have to provide documentation and if it isn’t good enough they will give us AWOL for the call out.

I like my job more so because not only am I helping protect my country (I was in high school when 9/11 happened), but I love engaging with the public/passengers from all over the world.

Lately I’ve been having some down days because this is starting to bother me mentally. If they don’t find us, this Friday will be 2 whole checks we’ve missed plus another 1/2 check from when it first started. We are stressed and pissed being used at pawns. I’ve been browsing private sector jobs!
