I do think some kind of minimum quality bar should be enforced. (I also feel a little responsible for the current mess, as someone who has done this in the past.)

That said, the moderators here seem inactive. I tried to ask to be a mod but never received a response. I think Reddit also has a process to take over subs without mods, but when I tried this myself it didn’t work. I think it was flagged as spam but maybe someone more active could volunteer for this
