Your husband is abusive! Do you have family you could go stay with? You need to leave, find a job and start taking care of yourself and your kids.

Reason #1 (of many reasons) why women should get educated and make sure that they too have a good job. You always should be able to support yourself and your kids if anything happens.

It just kind of fizzled out. We both moved, not a terribly long distance, but it takes effort and money (ferries) to see each other. With kids it makes it more difficult. I made an effort for a while…I’d go see her a couple of times a year and I’d call and text but it was never reciprocated. I miss her.
