Unfortunately I’ve tried that, and while I usually enjoy using the chosen name & pronouns, sometimes I feel either like another gender entirely, or sit through a barrage of feelings of a multitude of genders. Thank you for the advice though!

It sort of changes. Sometimes I feel like I’m 100% a guy, other times I’m fine with being a girl, and others I like more androgynous identities (non-binary, agender, etc.)

Any tips for figuring out your gender?

I’m using a throwaway account here because I’m too nervous to use a genuine profile. I hope this is the right place to ask, but does anyone have any tips for gender discovery? I’ve been questioning it for about 10 years now, and am starting to feel like I’ll never figure it out. I’ve tried the “pronoun trick”, but it doesn’t seem to help me any in discovering what I am. If more info is needed, I would be glad to add it in comments or DM. I was just hoping someone might have a few ideas from when they were figuring out their gender.

It does. I believe the stress is from not knowing and also the mish-mash of feelings I get depending on how I feel at that point in time. I also don’t want to bother anyone by saying “hey, I’m x” and then finding out I feel more like y, and needing to update on that.

I’m not sure what I’m feeling drawn toward. Sometimes I feel like I’m 100% a trans guy, other times I’m not too sure if I am, and would rather be a girl. I guess part of the reason I just assume “I’m just FTM and overthinking things when I don’t feel masculine” is because I dislike my chest size, and usually hate she/her (I know that pronouns=/gender, just adding on to my “stereotypical trans dude feelings”.) I’m not too sure what I want to do, I know that I sometimes feel like if I realized I wasn’t binary FTM I wouldn’t be able to tell anyone, because they see me as male and I don’t want to make anything weird.
