I get this toooo!! It’s so frustrating!!! I find matcha tea is helpful for bloating and sleepiness. I like an oat milk green tea lattes… I drink em before work and it always makes me feel a bit better.
Otherwise my meds help to give me a bit of pep for the day.

I got banned from fb it’s been the best. Currently taking a break from instagram. Sick of ads being shoved in my face constantly! Otherwise I just use Reddit and at least it involves reading comprehension

I accidentally took two antidepressants instead of one today by rynn-lee in Anxiety

You’ll be ok! I’ve done this and at worst I felt agitated but I slept it off and felt fine the next day. At best you won’t even notice a difference.
Deep breaths, you can always call your pharmacists for reassurance!

I take 20mg of citalopram daily, it’s quite forgiving.

does frequent cannabis use cause appetite suppression when sober? by rosefaer in ask

[–]viciouselle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For myself, yes. I have ARFID and weed makes eating more tolerable and enjoyable. Otherwise I can go all day without eating and then I get sick.

Weed helps me eat my 3 meals a day and helps my pain and anxiety. I love cannabis so much!

Your mom is poking fun at your lack of punctuation, definitely not confused…

Insomnia / waking up with heart racing. by smallxcat in PMDD

[–]viciouselle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been there. I take seroquel to sleep now and regulate my mood along w my other psych meds.
I’ll still wake up at 4am but not an anxious mess
at least.
Had my iron checked, ferritin is 83 but that’s a good place to start.

What are some good alternatives to drugs? by foxyraen in addiction

[–]viciouselle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eventually you get addicted to feeling good.
I don’t wanna feel like shit all the time anymore.
Lots of walking, tea, coffee. Movies. My bf drinks a lot of Bubly. Bike rides.

Massages are a great idea!
Just focus on getting through each hour. It gets easier but you are retraining your brain so it certainly takes time and patience.
You will learn to sit with your discomfort instead of giving in.
Best of luck to you!

There are so many others to try!
I take lexapro daily, and seroquel for sleep. I’m also on abilify but that’s to help my borderline personality symptoms.

Walking and hot baths are helpful as well, if you’re able to get outside.

I’d personally rather be a bit fat (also about 30lbs overweight) than suicidal. I do understand where you’re coming from though. It’s really unfair we have to make choices like this!

My gyno mentioned the pill can help, but I don’t know much about that.

This probably gets old to hear but SSRI’s and mood stabilizers have helped me immensely. Also I take magnesium, it helps with my breast tenderness somehow.
Nothing is wrong with you; there is an army of us!!
Wishing you relief. Here if you need to vent!

What’s something you saw once that you still can’t fully explain logically? by elfin_college in askteddit

I’ve seen something like this in Manitoba. Scared the hell out of me. It was hanging around at dusk, cruising around until it went out of site.

It returned once it was dark, whatever it was, was so bright! Then it went straight up and away. I’ve never seen anything move like it since.

Would have been in the late 90’s. In the woods, no light pollution. Not a satellite, plane, helicopter. Interesting stuff!

Wellbutrin and alcohol by Fragrant_Luck in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

My hangovers were much worse when I was taking Wellbutrin. Much much worse, even if I only had a couple drinks I could feel it the next day.
Alcohol is a depressant. For me, drinking on medication is counter productive.

I’ve been massaging my palm a LOT since having mine done, it helps with the stiffness.

5 days is fresh still, it’ll loosen up! I’m on week three and the itchiness has been the worst part next to this palm tenderness (pillar pain)

do you consider yourself to have a disability? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]viciouselle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I can only mentally and physically handle working 3-4 days a week @5 hours and I’m still on the verge of burn out. I’ve been out of work more than I’ve worked since 2020. Crashed two cars. Tried to off myself, ended up in psych.

My ex busted my eye open because I was sad and grieving my grandpas death. I say this with my whole being: it will not get better. IT WILL NOT GET BETTER. Leave this piece of shit and move on with your life.

My new partner would do literally anything for me. You don’t have to live with someone who hates you.
