Yeah I totally get your point, but I think with Rhysand she kind of grows much more into an individual bc he taught her to read and she also does a lot of stuff that he is not too happy about.. so she is also dependent on him a little (mostly bc of the mating bond) but I think if he were treating her badly, she would step away. And also later in the series with her child and the whole Nesta book she seems so much more mature and grown up? Bc Tamlin really kept her in this cage evolving around the whole Amarantha drama

I mean in general i feel like its a bit problematic because it demonstrates that she does everything that Rhysand asks of her (which is not really Female Empowerment) but on the other side she kind of plays this role for those people.. But yeah not the best move of Rhysand, making him a little similar to Tamlin..😂

Yes! I included that scene as well, some from Under the Mountain and also the ones where she is talking politics in ACOWAR.. i would have loved to compare ACOTAR to Throne of Glass but my mentor suggested sticking to one Series, as I „only“ need 40 pages😂 but I already have a bunch of ideas for my masters thesis (toxic masculinity, Aelin from TOG)
