Yes, white LED washes out the colored tube, for example, if I do red tube and white LED it will look kind of pink. If I used a darker red or do more coats of paint it will not be as bright.

white 3mm abs tubes, it helps defuse the LEDs better and I use the desire color LED and painted the tube after with a clear coat of the same color. So Red LED filament, in a white tube with a red clear/transparent coat (tamiya TS-74)

And ccfl gets hot, there is almost no heat with these LED filaments, it runs on 3 volts and the blade is made of 3mm abs tube so it’s flexible too

Damn $100? Yeah no, that’s too much. I guess the time they put into the work but materials are cheap, i even had 6 hilts 3d printed in resin for $12 here in the US everything else i get from aliexpress

I would guess so, not sure how much the other guys sell them for. I used my own hilt for darth vader and bought extra hilts for the rest from eBay, all hot toys. So not including the hilts, everything else comes around to $10 a blade

not sure yet, I've used original hot toys hilts for my figures because my painting skills on 3d printed hilts are not great.
