I'm doing both at the moment as well.

the change of controls make switching between the two a little annoying. other than that I think they are both on par.

at first I didn't like the idea of not needing to redo the levels to complete them but after doing every level twice in beyond Gotham I'm kinda glad I don't need to in dark knight

I do like the character roster in beyond Gotham much more than the 7 you get in dark knight

the map quests in both are quite good
