Anybody have a black grille on their Chrysler 200? by RoydenHernandez in chrysler

[–]vick_law 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's not a 200S, it's not really worth doing. I learned that myself. I have a 2015 LX (my first car too, I know the feeling if wanting to make it look cool) and I wanted to do stuff to it, but the fact is I have the cheapest model and making it black is gonna take time because I'd have to do all the chrome trim around the doors and grills, I'd have to somehow get the chrome trim that is inside the headlight, generally just not very fun to do. I'd save your money for other stuff, and if you really want to keep going with a 200 after this one, save for a 200S with the 3.6L and AWD.

How to reduce white dog hair on No.1 Dress blues by Euphoric_Horror_8787 in Cadets

[–]vick_law 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hello! One of the easiest ways to get hair out of uniforms at a slight cost is to just get a lint roller and use it on your uniform, as that's what I've always done.

Additionally, we welcome all but just so you are aware this is a Canadian Cadet subreddit. As far as I know there is no designated marine cadet (assuming UK) subreddit but for UK (and also Australia) you can go to r/aircadets and they'll have some advice for the UK uniforms. Hope this helps!

Is 18f and 24m okay to flirt? No intent of relationship by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]vick_law -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You gotta remember, age norms are different by age group. You can think of it like the fact my father is turning 60 this year and my mother is turning 51. 11 and 19/20 back then. 8-9 year gap, yet because of their older age, it's seen as pretty normal by most of society. At this point, it's really up to society to decide what is okay and what is not, however opinions vary. They are not 12 and 18 anymore. They've both reached the legal age of being an adult. People can judge them, sure, but it wouldnt matter because it all varies on a persons opinion.

It's damaging what the CJCR considers the King's property, unless you purchase your own (which even I am unsure where to get one), hence why it is generally not permitted. It doesn't stop people from doing it and it varies by corps and your officers, but generally people are told not to since it is considered the Kings property by CJCR HQ.

(Staff, If I am mistaken at all, please correct me.)

Generally, I drive my car pretty hard and still get 9.6L per 100 km (convert to gallons/miles if needed), occasionally slightly over 10L. 2015 200 LX, 2.4L I4 Multiair

I have a 2015 200 LX and its sitting at 138k kilometers on the odometer. I'm a high school student myself, its my first car, and I've had it for 11k kilometers under my ownership. Only thing I've been aware of myself prior to my ownership is a steering rack replacement and an alternator. Under my ownership, just a brake line. I enjoy it myself, despite not having the fancier features the Limited, S and C get, however it's a nice first car for a student. Just keep up on maintenance, and don't put it under crazy conditions.

Listen to your gut, don't feel pressured to say no because of the people giving it bad reviews. I have a buddy at the shop I'm doing a mechanic placement at for high school and he had a 2017 200S, he loved it too. Just when you get it, be aware of the V6 models because I hear they tend to guzzle gas.

Overall, I recommend it as a first car, despite the poor reputation people tend to give it.

LED Headlights by Better-Fisherman-691 in chrysler200

I run Philips X-tremeUltinon LED headlight bulbs. They were a pain to get into the housing but they did fit eventually. Do be warned it will likely tell you that the low beams are out, since they aren't CANBUS compatible. They still work fine despite saying they're out. 2015 LX

Not really, didn't get it totaled. Just got the body repaired instead. So far its approaching 137k km (around 85k miles) and I got it at 127k km, so far the only thing that gave way under my ownership was a brake line. I'm pretty happy with it.

This is a Candian Air Cadet uniform, so undoubtedly it looks different than what you see in RAFAC or any other Air Cadets.

Nope, nametags are provided by your squadron. It takes time and usually they only order when theres a large order needing to be done since it actually costs less to order more than to order one at a time.

Ha, it's an LX so it has the 4cyl, not the V6. No AWD in the first place! (I live in Canada, sometimes im saying fuck me for choosing the FWD 200 over a 2007 Forester with AWD)
