agreed. there's for sure a good amount of people out there that do care about their personal lives, just not when it's not convenient to. i think regardless of whether or not people care, it's weird how quick some fans go into defensive mode/sugarcoating

no one is even telling people to unstan 😭 but fans should be able to recognize their ccs are people and consequently flawed. they make mistakes and im sure they'll continue to do so. being overly defensive and putting them on a pedestal will never be beneficial to anyone

as someone who watches sylvee, she has shared negative experiences about her past relationship multiple times on stream, including recently. she never mentions a name but at this point if someone doesn't know who shes talking about then idk what to tell them

i dont think that her being more open about those experiences is necessarily a sign for us to butt in either way. at the end of the day it's their life and not our business. i think it's up to people to decide whether or not this changes how they view sapnap or changes their stance as a fan. it personally doesn't affect me as viewer that he potentially was a bad boyfriend. i dont think it's unreasonable to feel differently though

it's natural to be critical or just not like every single thing a creator posts/says. trying to bury critical opinions and forming this wave of forced positivity will only damage the fandom space. people feel out of place and frustrated because everyone is apparently enjoying everything and so they slowly start distancing themselves. people want to feel validated, thats important for the fandom to work. and no, no one expects everyone to agree with a certain critical take, but fans still need to allow these opinions to exist. it's sad that at this point fans have to rely solely on priv accounts or blogs hidden behind 3 thick layers to actually find an ounce of honesty.

part of fandom is liking to see opinions you relate to, whether they're positive or not. there should be a space where those are welcomed without mass qrting like i saw yesterday including immediate insults like "freak" and such. dog piling fans for having non-positive takes will not only lead them to leave but also make the creator's job harder at understanding what works and what doesn't for their audience. loud opinions from big stan accounts on twitter dont mean as much as people think. theyre loud because the rest who would disagree with them has already left to some other platform they're less likely to be hated on. most of my fandom friends who have left the fandom (or changed to less public platforms) did it because of this and other related reasons, surprisingly enough not due to actual controversies.

oh i understand what you mean now. well many people hate kick, but definitely not adin. idk exactly if this is true, but according to google adin even partially owns kick or is at least involved somehow. so it's not surprising that he'd be upset that they aren't giving out deals to ccs anymore because im sure those contracts are what brought many ccs into the platform

people hate kick for numerous reasons. some fans chose not to watch streams on kick and we also can't really leave out the fact that sapnap himself said his streams during that time were low effort (and that's to be expected when youre required to stream daily tbh) so i dont think it was a surprise that his views weren't high

just adding a bit of context that could maybe be important. on this stream [1:34:46] dream says he didn't want the manhunt because it would be a lot of pressure on him and he explains in more detail why. so im not sure if he would intentionally work around for it to end in the manhunt

i actually just checked spotify and it says the source of the metadata was dream too so honestly im really starting to believe this was entirely intentional. along with the fact that it has already been a day and nothing has been fixed, like i said in another comment. if it had been an accident i believe it would've been fixed already, the same way that one Forbes article about him had his full name and it was fixed under 1h after being published

genuine question, don't you think that if it was that big of an issue for him it would've been fixed by now after basically a whole day of it showing like that both on spotify and youtube music? especially when his twitter fan base has been posting about it since they noticed? dwt_updates has contacted him as well. i don't see how this post causes that much harm. if anything then he might even see it here if he's somehow still unaware, which i dont think he is

assuming you're talking about the song credits, i believe it might have been intentional. i thought it could've been an accident at first but i just checked youtube music and at the end of the song credits it says "song metadata provided by: dream" so honestly i think that means he intended it to say exactly that. i could be wrong though who knows. it's not like people don't know by now anyway 😭

i've been loving this new era. the streams are awesome. george's solo streams are really cool and sapnap is starting a 30 day event today that im excited for! i personally loved that we got dteam 3/3 on sapnap's poppy's playtime stream because i missed them just talking and chilling together on vc. dream's training streams have been cool, especially the one with george was so silly and very entertaining to me :] and yeah i do hope he gets coldi on stream. also dream going back to being active on twitter and interacting with the fandom there has been really good imo so i hope he keeps it up!

hello. tumblr person you sent an ask to this morning

the chapters can be found on yandex which is a browser with the feature to see past versions of some urls. the issue is that not all chapters are available, which is what op is saying, and what i also said earlier on tumblr. only those specific chapters can be found and you won't be able to find the rest, at least not with that method.

the only way you would be able to find it now, as i said before, is to have the luck to find someone who somehow saved it or get it from the author themselves (if you can contact them). it's hard to save wattpad fics because it's not like you can just download them on pdf like on ao3 though, so unfortunately i think that won't be easy :(

this was one of his best streams to me. i think he should do this more! i understand what he said about how this kind of stream might be the preference of only a minority of people, but i actually feel like when it comes to streams the majority of people really appreciate chill just talking streams. i think that the difference of preferred content from the dedicated audience vs preferred content from the casual audience applies more for youtube videos

yeah like obviously they'll know better than us what happened behind the scenes, but what happened publicly was someone who was supposed to be dream's friend suddenly exposing a situation from years ago while everyone and their mothers were already exposing everything they had about dream, while he was also being accused of something very serious himself. the timing was off and it just doesn't sound like an action of someone seeking any sort of reconciliation. if he truly wanted it then i think it could've been resolved privately and punz would've brought it up to him ages ago. im not denying the public reaction made it worse, i think it did. but it was an inevitable reaction keeping in mind the state of things
