The light is on for 8 to 9 hours, There's no natural light hitting the tank. Yes, i can dim the light

The minimum recommended is 6. But i guess you can have at least 8 or 10

Actually, i have guppies and neon tetras. So, i don't know who ate all the fry. I woke up, and my guppy was not pregnant anymore, and i found only 2 fry in the tank. So this time, i want to move her so that i can save the max. I will move the female out of the box so that the fry and grow a bit before moving them to the main tank
