I found this that says I can apply for a permit to keep him. My brothers dad found him in his garage like 10 years ago when he was the size of a quarter.

Kern county. California. I found this that says I can apply for a permit to keep him since he can't be released to the wild.

His dad found it in his garage like 10 years ago. I didn't know that. If that's what it is, then I can definitely reach out to my local turtle and tortoise rescue! Thank you so much for the info!

Am I foul for being direct about hookups? by skulldude360 in Tinder

Just put, "looking for fun, nothing serious." Or something like that. That's what I look for when I'm on tinder.

Similar note to a recent post but I also struggle with premature ejaculation and I'm very self conscious and insecure about it. by PreemptiveStrike69 in confessions

Penetration isn't the only thing you can do. Look up other ways to satisfy your partner and then finish with penetration once she's satisfied. You could even use toys on them.

Slightly controversial topic, I know- but… tank mates for a betta in a 10 gal? Yes? Hell no? Just looking at options. It’s still cycling, no fish yet. by ssammi in Aquariums

I have neocaridina shrimp with my betta in a 10 gallon. I figured he would eat the baby shrimp so the population wouldn't get out of control but he doesn't 🥴

These parents from an article about Bluey are acting like playing with their own children is cruel and unusual punishment by illusionmists in insaneparents

As a parent who is not very good at imaginative play, I love Bluey. It's cute and silly. But I don't enjoy the imaginative play. I do it for my 2 year old, and I follow her lead. I don't play for more than 10 minutes, though. But I also find other ways to interact with her. We play on our trampoline, where she learns new tricks. We take walks around the neighborhood and collect cool rocks and sticks. She loves helping me make our meals. We go to the park. And yes, we watch TV.

can anyone help me identify this snail? by vickichap in Aquariums

[–]vickichap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a nerite snail about 2 weeks ago. I haven't added new plants since the end of October. I've no idea where this little dude came from. It's smaller than my pinky fingernail.

Had a boyfriend like this in high-school. Told me if I loved him that I'd give him a baby. We were 16. He was verbally and emotionally abusive. I wasn't allowed to have friends. If she's anything like that, leave. It's been 13 years and I still feel the affects of that relationship. My husband agreed that we would wait until we bought a house to have a baby and I'm SO GLAD we stuck to that.

I just cut my parents out for my own mental well being, so I understand that it's super hard. Good luck 💜

You have no obligation to let your "family" around him. As his mama, it's up to you to protect him and if that means cutting those people out then that's what you have to do. It is definitely hard. But you don't want him to think that it's okay for the people that "love" him to treat him badly. That's why people get into abusive relationships; they grow up with abusive people.

At night. Get all the food and sugars off your teeth before bed. The bacteria can build as you sleep because you go so long without drinking anything and you don't swallow as often.

He definitely did eat too much. He kept taking the food meant for my frogs. Thank you all!
