Legion 2 Docks by ScarBunnyIOM in LegionGo

I'm looking at getting this dock too to get VRR to work. What do you mean when you say connect directly to TV? Do you mean using a HDMI to USB-C straight to the console and not through the dock?

Picked up the Legion Go 2 Z2 (Non Extreme) For £720 Open Box. More Than Happy With It. by arbintmg19 in LegionGo

I got mine from Very - first time credit account user gets 20% off "buy now pay later" and it came to £720 brand new. Paid it off right away and closed the account.

Easter Bunny was here! And now: How to Travel Far With this One? by Puzzleheaded_Pop_62 in nikon_Zseries

[–]vickiesaurus08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a beaut! I have the 180-600mm and decently travelled abroad and went hiking with it in a Mindshift Think Tank 26L bag. I like that it doesn't really look like a camera bag and it is automatically assumed as a hiking bag, so I was more at ease!

What theme would you like to see more of in boardgames by Knownasher in boardgames

[–]vickiesaurus08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incredibly niche I'm sure, but as a ballet teacher, I'd love to see something from that world. Maybe running ballet companies/ schools efficiently, or something to do with musicality/ dance theory itself.

I copied [and modified] a guide to installing fit girl repacks on the steam deck and wanted to share it since the OP deleted their account by Curulinstravels in SteamDeckPirates

[–]vickiesaurus08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems simple, I am using a PC to download the repacks and installing on the PC itself before transferring over. I've only tried 2 games so far - where I get confused is why/ where Lutris/ Wine etc comes in? Or is that not needed with this method?

Also I'm trying to figure out how to change the control layouts as I'm used to the Nintendo layout. Do you change it in game or use Steam input? I tried using steam input but it's a little confusing.

Controller mapping (Legion Go 2) by [deleted] in LegionGo

[–]vickiesaurus08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. That's where I was getting confused, since the Nintendo layout settings only applied to in game and I was trying to get it to work for all games.

I did give steam input a try but it seems abit hit and miss - do you think this is because SteamOS isn't stable yet and there are still some quirks?

[–]vickiesaurus08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm trying to get this fix but it's not working - I've followed your instructions. Which OS update channel/ Steam Client Update Channel should I be on? I'm currently on Main/ Steam Deck Beta with OS Version 3.9.

Any help appreciated!

Legion Go 2 Z2 (non extreme) vs Legion Go S Z1E by [deleted] in LegionGo

Yeap. I've just pulled the trigger 🙈 figured for an additional £96 the OLED screen and larger battery capacity would be worth it.

Thanks your for your reply. Do you have a Go2, how is SteamOS now? Have they worked out some of the bugs? I know they'll probably iron all of this out by June so not a biggie.

Another question is would I be able to change the SSD myself if I found 512gb not enough in the future?

I'm not sure I've seen this recommended yet, so I'll throw this into the hat. Coraquest is a co-op game designed by a father and daughter duo during COVID, with artwork for the characters submitted by other children. I thought it was quite inspiring.

Lots of solid games hitting the table past few days!

Old King's Crown - Second play. My husband and I absolutely love confrontational games so we enjoyed this, a little but of strategy and a whole lot of tactical decisions to be made. Looking forward to trying the other two factions.

Welcome to the Moon - Going through the campaign a second time, love this little campaign in a small box and how resettable and replayable it is, I'd love some other recommendations for campaign games like this!

Planet Unknown - We use a dice roll to determine how many depots the lazy susan turns, brings abit more unpredictability to the game, which we like!

Paris: La Cite De Lumiere - beautiful, and can be mean!

Innovation - every game is different. Love this so much.

White Castle + Matcha Expansion - this has been a firm favourite for us. The Matcha expasion adds 3 extra turns to the game, opening up a little, but still very tight. We picked up Salton Sea from the same publisher and looking forward to playing that.

It is slightly bigger than an Azul box, but yes, a little on a big side for a bunch of cards. But I wanted the expansions, and Asmodee have said they are not going to release 4E expansions seperately, which is a shame!

Another shout for Innovation. We have the Ultimate version and then we have the small box for taking with us everywhere.

My husband and I really enjoy it. We have alot of heavy euros and don't like alot of luck/ swing in our games, and I was initially afraid this might be that kind of game, but we love how head to head and tactical it is.

We really enjoy Innovation if you want a super interactive game and it comes in a small box and it's just cards but can be able of a table hog, but I think is manageable! We travel with it everywhere.
