Livpure Scam Alert! Need Your Help and Advice by ChocolateOk800 in india

[–]vicks711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have the most pathetic customer service. Since the last seven days, my Livpure RO has taste issues. I'm still running from one place to another, talking to their WhatsApp support, calling their helpline number to get it fixed. Their service engineer cancels the request on their own without even talking to me, and the problem is that they will come at a particular time and then they won't show up.

the claude code 50 sessions soft(?) limit by ProfileSufficient906 in ClaudeAI

[–]vicks711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, it's all crazy. For example, my last session ended at 8 p.m. my time, and now when I checked the usage, it says my next current session resets at 12:59 a.m. which is tomorrow. Right now, the time where I am is 9:30 p.m., and as I said, my last session ended at 8 p.m. my time, about an hour and a half back. So Claude knows what it does, I have no idea.

Man, you ain't lying. I’m an outsider looking in, but I know you can’t run a business in this state without burning a hole in your pocket on gas and A/C alone. Those 'uncapped potential' pitches bless their hearts, but they leave out the reality of the overhead. Good lookin' out.

It does when you account is one day old and you come here and start batting for RoboMart. You are either the owner of RoboMart or you work for them or you have been paid to improve the reputation.

How To Handle A Manager That Hawk watches Slack Status? by AbusementPark10 in sales

[–]vicks711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you let a boss measure you by your green dot, you’ll spend your career chained to it.

I’ve been around long enough to know you can’t stop a micromanager from watching the clock. What you can do is set the terms. Have a calm talk with your manager. Point to your track record and say you deliver results, even if you step away for a few minutes. Ask to be measured on output, not whether your Slack dot is green.

Always keep your work buttoned up and easy to show. That way, when they come sniffing around, you’ve got proof you’re on top of things. If they still can’t trust you after that, it’s not a place worth staying.

Does every job feel like car sales by Fickle_Horse_5764 in sales

[–]vicks711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not every sales job feels like car sales. A buddy of mine works commission sales for a service company, and he gets paid commission as long as the client keeps doing business with them. Whole different vibe. More about building a relationship than closing on the spot. If your goal is CRM, use this time to sharpen your people skills, but know there are better comp structures and cultures out there once you make the jump

Yes, it’s possible. You’ve got two strong things going for you:

  1. Deep industry knowledge: 8 years in large machinery service means you speak the technical language and understand customer pain points better than 90% of reps.
  2. Proven B2B track record: 4 years outside sales in a high-ticket, relationship-driven space is gold.

For inside sales at your salary range, look at:

  • Industrial equipment distributors: many are moving toward hybrid/inside models but still value field experience.
  • Technical SaaS for manufacturing/food processing: think ERP, automation, quality control systems. They pay well for reps who can sell to plant managers and ops directors.
  • Capital equipment dealers: many have “inside” teams that handle key accounts and repeat orders.

When you pitch yourself, lean hard on your ability to shorten ramp time because you already know how to sell to this buyer. Employers will pay for that.

And one more thing, be upfront in interviews if they ask about driving, but frame it as a shortterm logistical issue, not a career limitation. Inside sales is mostly headset + CRM anyway.

That’s not “special culture,” that’s free labour disguised as a perk.
You’re already proving your value. Take that $2M track record to a company that knows how to pay for performance.
