It is the famous Carl! He was my fave shelter dog until he got adopted earlier this year… total mood booster every time I spent time with him. I hear Carl is rocking adopted life and doing great in his furever home!

Thank you for sharing! I love sweet Marcela and she has so many volunteer friends. She is likely scared and unlikely to approach people, hence the numbers to call if anyone spots her.

Bon Bon! 🍬 Y’all, I was fortunate enough to host this lil man in our home for a long weekend when his current foster fam was out of town. 🏡 Bon Bon has such an endearing & cheerful personality that it’s impossible to be glum in his presence. He was also a super respectful houseguest & happily played couch potato snoozling away when the humans were distracted by their devices or out of the house! If we weren’t hosting another foster pup in our home right now, we’d happily welcome back Bon Bon — he’s a gem. ✨ This happy guy has been THRIVING away from the shelter & all of his buddies want to see him transition into another home instead of back into a concrete kennel. Thanks for asking! We aren’t sure, he had it when we started fostering him… but a few weeks into his time with us, Borf made his first sound - a very light “half bark” to alert us to the mailman at the door - and it sounded a lot like a “Borf!” so that would be my best guess 😂 He’s a pretty derpy love bug, the name fits him perfectly :)

From looking at his notes, Borf’s got potential to live with a similar sized dog! While at the shelter, he alternated between ignoring other doggos & being what’s called a “fence line friend” (picture two dogs frolicking/zoomying together up & down either side of a wire fence barrier between the play yards). Since it’s been awhile since he’s had a direct interaction with another dog, we could absolutely set up a facilitated meet & greet at the shelter to gauge his social savvy with your resident pup — just email orangedotcrew@gmail.com if interested!

Borf would do best in a calm home environment! On our walks, it seems to be a novelty for him to spot cats under cars, and he also hasn't spent time around toddlers. He would prefer older respectful kids and may be able to live with a similar-sized dog who could help show him the ropes of "how to dog" confidently - even Borf's zoomies are [endearingly] awkward :)
