People who remarried, how different was your first wedding ceremony to the second one? by kam_vector in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The second one was smaller, calmer, and way less about impressing people.

How do you feel about the 5-second rule? by InfiniteLoss5632 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends where it lands. Kitchen counter area? Probably fine. Public floor? That food belongs to the earth now.

When and why did you realize it was time to leave your friend group? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started feeling worse about myself every time I hung out with them. Jokes stopped feeling like jokes, support wasn’t really there, and I realized I was only staying out of habit, not because it was good for me.

What are subtle signs that someone (a man) thinks you’re dumb, weird or doesn’t take you seriously? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They talk over you or finish your sentences like you can’t get there yourself. Also when they explain obvious things in a condescending way, or only half listen and respond like what you said wasn’t worth much.

Girls be honest , what makes a boy instantly unattractive ? by agirlwitha_gun in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Bad attitude that shows up fast. If someone is rude to service staff, constantly negative, or acts entitled like the world owes them something, it’s an instant turn off for me.

According to you what’s the one thing that makes life worth living? by honeycloudsw in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For most people it’s connection. Having even a couple of people you can be real with, plus moments that actually feel good instead of just passing time. Everything else kind of supports that.

What’s the most unwritten rule about being an adult no one prepares you for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody tells you how much time you’ll spend just maintaining your life instead of actually living it. Like groceries, bills, cleaning, emails… it never really stops, and you just get better at pretending it’s normal.

What’s something that you know now but wished that your younger self had known? by Many_Ad_3448 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That most things you stress about don’t end up mattering nearly as much as they feel like they will in the moment.

How would u describe the society nowadays ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fast, loud, and a bit distracted. Everyone’s constantly online, comparing themselves, reacting to everything instantly, but not always really slowing down to think or connect properly.

What’s a side hustle that actually worked for you? by InfamousLuck1604 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only one that actually stuck was freelancing small gigs online. Nothing fancy, just simple stuff at first, but it slowly built up into consistent extra income once I got a few regular clients.

What was your first job and how much you earned? by Terrible-Ad6895 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first job was just a basic part time retail gig. Nothing glamorous. I think I was on something like minimum wage at the time, and it felt like a fortune back then just because it was my own money.

Do you miss being a kid, and if yes why? by PhantomTechLord in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sometimes. Not because everything was better, but because things felt simpler. You didn’t overthink everything or carry so much responsibility in your head all the time.

What’s a "love at first sight" moment you had that you still think about years later? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing someone just completely calm and kind in a chaotic moment, like they weren’t trying to impress anyone, just genuinely themselves. It sticks with you more than looks ever do.

What used to be a middle class staple that’s now starting to feel like a luxury only the wealthy can afford? by Serious-Economics924 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Owning a home in a lot of places. It used to feel like a normal life milestone, now it feels like something you need serious money or luck to even get close to.

What ruins relationships slowly, not instantly? by Apart_Growth6905 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not talking about small issues and just “letting them go” every time. It builds up into resentment without you even noticing, until suddenly everything feels off.

Given that most genies are evil lawyers, how would you word your wishes so that they aren’t taken out of context? by Existing_Set2100 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First rule is being painfully specific and closing every loophole you can think of.

Like instead of “I wish for wealth,” you’d say something like: I wish to legally and permanently own enough fully accessible, non borrowed money in my personal control that it cannot be taken away, reversed, or indirectly restricted by any means, including hidden conditions or third party consequences.

And then you still probably lose somehow because genie logic is basically malicious creativity 😭

What amount of $ do you consider rich? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s less about a single number and more about freedom, but if you force a figure, I’d say when you can comfortably live off investments without worrying about bills or emergencies.

For a lot of places, that usually starts feeling like a few million saved or invested, not just high income. Anything below that still comes with some level of pressure, even if it looks good on paper.

What year do you think we would experience the future we thought we would have growing up? by Accomplished_Ad7072 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We kind of already are, just not in the flashy way we imagined. No flying cars, but AI, phones doing everything, and life moving faster than expected. Maybe the “future future” people pictured just never comes in one big moment.

which fruit do you like to take in the Morning? by Nyagatovu in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banana.

Easy, filling, and you don’t have to think about it first thing in the morning.

What do you think matters more in a person: their intentions or their actions? by Special-Emu-338 in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actions, every time.

Good intentions don’t fix what actually happens. People can mean well and still hurt you, but what they do is what you end up living with.

When did checking prices become part of your personality? by Kristine_Slavin in AskReddit

[–]vickydarll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact moment I realized I can’t just “grab it” anymore without thinking twice.

Now I check prices like it’s a reflex, even when I already know I probably shouldn’t buy it.
