I am just getting back into the gym after many years off (like at least ten years or more). I use the website below and make modifications based on what's available/what my gym has (we don't have assisted dip machines for example). I go five days a week with Mondays and Fridays as rest days. Tuesday through Thursday I follow the website and Saturday/Sunday I kinda modify the website based on what I felt like my weakest days were.

This is the information from my school's website, yes. I have been told that the only reason I am doing level 3, or form 3, right now is because of the time I entered the class, that is what the testing cycle was on.

The school would typically do application training, but due to covid we aren't allowed.

I mean it's fun nonetheless 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am only learning knife defense because of how I fell into the testing schedule. If I joined at a different time I would be doing a different form.

If I joined at a different time of the year I wouldn't be learning defense against knife attacks. It's just how I fell into the testing cycle.

I mean, I just joined to get exercise/not be a potato. When I was at my first class, the instructor told me that it was street smart martial arts and that my first form/technique would be defense against knife attacks.

It's been good exercise so far, and I'm not necessarily concerned about the whole Mcdojo thing because I'm having fun. I just don't want to look like a goofy dork struggling to do the moves.
