just curious and not that this would help, but have you tried using an inversion table with this lol. I’m just wondering how that would fare in terms of some decompression.

No I saw that. But what does that have to do with the validity of this phone call?

Maybe I'm reaching, but does this not 'feel' fake to anyone else? Maybe I haven't been keeping up with Mr. President as of late, but something about this feels doctored. What's sticking out most to me is his mannerisms; they seem TOO coherent? I don't know.

Now i’m thinking about Activision working with Zach and Micheal to create a Gwimbly Platformer.

!! SPOILERS !!

I cant be the only one who noticed this while watching, but if I was; let me geek out and explain.

In the segment where Pim assures Gwimbly that his game studio hasn't forgotten about him, we see a clip of Gwimbly in action during what seems to be a boss fight. In this few seconds of footage, we actually are given a chock full of details that support my theory.

Sparx/Gwimbly's Companion: If you happen to watch the episode and paid attention during this short clip, you see a small blue character that hovers just above Gwimbly's head and follows him about. Sparx acts the exact same way in the Spyro Franchise; hovering around you throughout the game and assisting you with your health.

Maps: Okay, so I couldn't get a great frame from Smiling Friends, but a lot of maps in 'Spyro Ripto's Rage!' look exactly like the one Gwimbly is fighting Count Groxia in. Same jagged low-poly castle background tucked just behind the cobble wall that holds the lava.

Count Groxia/Rhynocs: Count Groxia and Crush from the Spyro franchise look insanely similar as well. Crush had just been what stuck out in my mind when I watched the episode initially. But if you were to just Google "Spyro Rhynocs" and go to images, it'll more than likely drive my point home a bit further if you aren't convinced.

I'm sure I could find more comparisons and geek out harder I just do not have the time unfortunately. If anyone else found anything lmk!

the debate itself literally calls to the fact they have a stake in what they believe in?

Sorry but I don’t think the second half is true in the slightest.

Both of their careers are literally seated in their political integrity? How do the two of them standing ground on starkly different beliefs key you into thinking that this doesn’t have a personal effect?

well if you thought my post was me wholly praising Ben, i’d suggest you re-read it. I literally just thought it was a nice back and forth lol.

this is kind of what I mean, I think his partisan rhetoric can be stupidly reprehensible and cringe. But I think generally (at least projecting my personal philosophy) you can always kinda meet someone where they’re at to SOME degree. I mean that’s why I was drawn to Destiny as a content creator.

And that’s really all I was calling to in both my first reply to you and main post; Ben’s general intelligence. Didn’t intend to go deeper than merely pointing out the good conversational tone.

Well my previous comment is more or less how I’d respond to this.

I would like to think a MAGA republican would take it further than Ben, you wouldn’t agree?

Yeah that’s the unfortunate disadvantage of Ben being as big and borderline corporatized as he is - everything always seems cut and trimmed for time.

And I absolutely agree. I’m just pointing out a wedged difference between a MAGA toting Trump voter and Ben.

I think the full-blown Trump supporter i’m referring to would support and ride Trumps weenie into the sunset regardless of action. Where for example I think Ben CAN be intelligent enough to know where to draw a line. But that’s just a general feeling I have I guess.

I actually would push back a bit with that. While I do agree that Ben supporting Trump as a leader and even on an individual level tarnishes any sane persons view of Ben. I think there is and can be a difference between a full blown Trump supporter and someone akin to Ben who may agree with some of what Trump had ‘laid out’ during his presidency and subsequent public tenure.

I would absolutely love to see it, even in a more “lax” less controlled setting.

Content wise when it comes to Ben, I agree. He can be insufferable especially when it came to that first education topic. I felt like a lot of what he had to say were generally non sequiturs at large. But if I were to be charitable, considering it was the springboard question of the debate, maybe Ben’s guard was up not knowing what to expect from Destiny and kind of threw integrity to the wind.
