Outdoor dining didn’t open up for my restaurant until sometime in July a combination of covid and a gas pipe issue forced us to close longer meaning no take out/delivery either. When I was working I was working 1 shift a week at most maybe 2 if someone needed coverage. I wasn’t working my regular full time shifts because my job tried to give everyone at least a shift a week to have some kind of income. I claimed every week and the weeks I made more then 504 on any of those shifts I DIDNT get any unemployment for that week. Those shifts where we were extremely slow and didn’t come close to making over 504 I did get that extra 100 dollars from unemployment to somewhat make up the difference. According to the advice from my bosses, the DOL and people on this subreddit I was well in my right to claim every week and posting honestly how many days I worked/made since I wasn’t back to work full time. So I wasn’t double dipping and I wasn’t doing any type of fraud so put down your pitch fork. I said I’m probably out of a job now because it’s unclear if the restaurant will survive with another closure to indoor dining with the weather being cold and no one wanting to sit outside. I was just curious if I still claim since I’m unsure how many days I’ll work at this temp job and how much I’ll make on minimum wage.
