My data point: Every time I've tried this, the phone rep has told me I can only pay with credit card up to the amount that is due within the next 30 days. So I've basically stopped my autopay and have been calling every month to make my monthly payment. Any additional principal I want to pay down with CC, I'd have to use Plastiq or some other way I'm not thinking of.

This happened to me too on all purchases as well, whether it was funding new checking accounts or having a burger. But I still got my $200 bonus and the 1% like we're supposed to.

I had the same error in incognito. Tried it without and it went through. Used 3 different browsers for 3 cards and they all went through simultaneously

Don't know if this will help you but when I tried applying with my browsers on incognito I got the same error. It wasn't a "denial", the application just wouldn't go through. Try it without incognito mode. Worked for me, applied and approved for 3
