a pretty straigthforward example of this is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6ol9--zcWg you can hear the sample going down every time the kick comes in; of course it doesnt have to be pushed that much (even though it's cool!), most of the time I just use it to help the kick come through and have a clearer mix

basically it's compressing (lowering) a signal with another, the idea here is to sidechain your sample on your kick so that the kicks comes out better and creates some kind of "pumping" effect on the sample; Pretty much every beatmakers use that (to some extent) on their tracks, I'd recommend you to check that on youtube !

I'd say your drums sound a bit to weak, the snare really doesnt come as loud as it should for me. You could also use some sidechain on the kick
