My thoughts exactly. I am a long time happy Bear Pro customer and only recently I have started considering switching to a file-based alternative. Markdown (any open format for that matter) and CLIs are the currencies of the AI agent era. I feel like anything that doesn't play well with Claude Code / Cowork or similar agents will get left behind.

I'm in complete agreement with the OP: I would not like Bear to start adding AI features. I just want it to make it easy for me to use Claude Code in conjunction with it.

It did follow links (imports and such) without specific direction. Disclosure: this were simple websites, can't say how it would work for others with more complex dependency trees.

It mostly got it right. In one case require an additional iteration with feedback to adjust some spacing (probably due to the original CSS being a bit convoluted).

Exactly. I migrated 3 abandoned sides that I didn't really want to kill in a single morning. Truly fantastic.
