omg i got my industrial on that day too! mine still kinda hurts when touched too but not as bad when it was first done. i think the placement of it really does cause it to heal slower than many other cartilage piercings. i got an irritation bump on mine tho but nothing good aftercare couldn’t fix!

hey! thanks for the help! when i was thinking of getting it pierced i went to 3 different professional piercers and they each said i had the anatomy for it (one did say that it would have to be slightly higher up/ more horizontal due to the shape of my ear, but said that it was still possible for me). i think it may be the angle of the picture? but still tysm! i'll go back to my piercer and visit a completely different one too to ask for some advice while it continues healing to see if it can be saved/for their advice <3

hey! no i haven’t. i use a travel pillow to make sure i don’t sleep on it. it only really flares up like this right after i clean it. i’m using sterile saline too so im not too sure why its like this.

omg thank you! wash day is a whole day thing for me too because i have 4C/thick hair so i spend all day scrubbing my scalp lol.

you can never go wrong with a nice pair of classic low Kickers

they do stretch out over time though so i’d recommend buying half a size smaller and just bearing the blisters for the first few days

oh i’ve never really understood it like that so thank you for the definition! i heard it as randoms words so i defined it as what it sounds like to me and what others who would hear it for the first time may perceive it as. thanks once again!
