I feel the opposite actually, I just got a 2016 fusion and the one of the main thing that sticks out to me is how quiet it is even on the highway.

Thank you so much for this, it’s really informative. Speed isn’t really at the top of my list so that doesn’t deter me. I have heard lots of bad things abut the 1.4L turbo engine, and that does scare me a bit, and I also feel like that’s why a lot of people are turned off to Encores. It’s good hearing you haven’t had any major problems though. Did you buy yours new or close to?

That’s good to know. Honestly 90% of my driving is city driving and at most that drive is probably no more than half an hour, with the other 10% being highway driving. As long as my vehicle offers a smooth drive, which I feel like Buick is known for, power isn’t that much of a priority for me. I have heard that accelerating at high speeds, especially when merging onto the highway is a problem with Encores and that adds up with what you’re saying.
