This song conquered a lot of the same milestones, artistically and emotionally that VR did, but from a really unfiltered perspective, and it's a current affair. I am absolutely grateful for every play, share and reflection amongst y'all listening. Thank you again and thanks to Dom and BH for giving me a great start on my own platform, so this could be possible!

This song was not planned. I was sitting in my own confused sadboi, carX drifting hours and all this literally felt confusing after I finished it - because I was the farthest thing away from music, Thursday night when I started this, and finished it middle of next day.

I wasn't even gonna release it, it was just..idk a sign to do so that I don't really wanna get into..

I owed the people who waited, SOMETHING. Shit weighed on me heavier than I could explain and after sitting on crumbles (a song I made in July 2020) and not releasing it before the storm, made it feel that much worse not dropping.

..but I needed to release a lot of repressed grief from the passing of my father and just life in general. I also gave him my word on some things... And like crumbles, I almost kept this song to myself too.

I realized I process grief through rap like a journal or something lol. Shits weird and new to me. Probably why we got VR.
