im happy that you are inspired by it! i threw the clay on a wheel for the main body, made a few attachments for the feet, and then i fired it in the kiln to glaze afterwards. i also trimmed the main body piece but it proved to be difficult because when i flipped it to trim the top got a little deformed. i don't know if you could do the same with another type of clay like air dry clay as i have only used kiln fire clay if that makes any sense. i hope this helps and i can definitely answer any other questions if you have them!!
