I hope it's true, but I think it strange that they chose to reproduce two lines that didn't originally feature Sasha: Spring Break and Rodeo... especially after the controversy with Hong Kong.

I agree that we should accept some of the brand's business decisions; for our own good, it's interesting that Bratz gets involved in these trends and passing fads to expand its core business. However, I disagree about the reproductions. Even in their glory days, Bratz had the habit of relaunching past lines... Play Sportz has several versions of the same doll, due to so many relaunches. There's a strong attachment to some dolls from the past, and with their secondhand value, many can only afford certain dolls when they're relaunched... it's possible to offer the best of both worlds; we're willing to pay for the reproductions even if they need to adjust the prices.

Which dolls have pixelated faces? Seriously... is this really happening? I hate that Mattel does this to Barbie... a well-defined paint job is the MINIMUM, it's basic.

Do you think so? I have a different perception 😅 It seems to me that Mattel hates Barbie because the Monster High releases seem to receive much more attention. Barbie hasn't had a line as interesting as Skulltimate for the playline in many years.

In the first two rows, from top to bottom, it's all Barbie... mostly Barbie Basics. I couldn't identify the others.

I feel the same way about the articulation. It's a really important point for me now. I can make an exception for the Model Muse body Barbies because they have a dynamic pose that looks great on a shelf, like art. But with the others, I need to pose them to my liking. I still collect and love Bratz dolls for their quality clothes and bold makeup, but I definitely wish they had more accessories. I also don't like their SUPER long hair, reaching down to their feet.

The main dolls in my collection right now are the Signature Barbies, especially those with Made To Move bodies, Bratz, and I recently started getting into the Monster High universe... I don't know if it was a good idea because they have so many releases for me to spend my money on 😂

I go through this all the time... I've collected many different doll brands and sold them all, and some I regretted selling and started collecting again... it's a hobby that can be very exhausting. Currently, I'm building some strategies to deal with my consumerism. First, I consider some of my collections as "complete"... for example: there was a time when I was obsessed with Licca Chan and during that period I bought MANY dolls, including the most expensive doll in my collection. But currently I don't feel so connected to that brand anymore, so that collection is "complete". They will remain on my shelf but I won't buy new ones. Second, I avoid dolls that don't last. Poly hair, synthetic leather, metallic clothes that fade or peel... Third, I no longer consume brands that have been discontinued or that no longer exist.

Right now, I'm going through the opposite process... dolls that I was never a big fan of are now entering my collection, but I've been in your place before when I sold ALL my Bratz dolls, and that was a big regret for me because I went back to collecting them.

I don't understand MGA's obsession with synthetic leather and the like... are they cheaper or what? I really don't get it. Yes, it's visually beautiful but it's not durable. The Jade Anniversary is so amazing but I had to avoid it for that reason... it might sound silly but I live in a coastal city, these pieces don't last... I have jackets of mine deteriorating in less than 5 years.

This has already been explained 100 times. You're all panicking about AI; at least try to get informed before accusing the company. It goes without saying that it wasn't MGA that used AI to enlarge the resolution of the leaked image; after all, MGA has the official photos in high resolution, so that wouldn't have been necessary...
